Solar & Battery.
Make The Most Of Cowra Sun.

Rooftop solar and battery storage across Cowra, Canowindra, Grenfell, Woodstock, Boorowa and the wider Central West. The Central West gets plenty of sun and rural blocks have the roof space to make it count - so a properly sized array, wired cleanly into your switchboard with correct isolation and metering, turns that sunshine into real savings. Grid-connect or hybrid, new system or adding a battery to an existing one, done by a local licensed electrician.

What's Included

Panels On The Roof, Wired In Right.

A solar install is two jobs in one: the panels and inverter up top, and the connection back at the switchboard - isolation, metering and safe shutdown - that ties it into your supply legally and safely. That switchboard side is where a lot of the compliance sits, and it's exactly where a licensed electrician earns their keep. Hayden handles both ends, so it's one quote and one point of contact.

Panels mounted and racked to suit your roof - correct orientation and tilt to catch the Central West sun, secured for the wind that comes through out here.
Inverter installed and configured - sized to the array, mounted somewhere cool and accessible, and set up for your grid connection.
Connected at the switchboard with correct DC and AC isolation, the export meter arranged, and a clearly labelled safe shutdown.
Battery storage where you want it - a new hybrid system or a battery added to an existing array, so surplus sun carries you into the evening.
Tested, commissioned and monitored - the whole system checked working, the app set up on your phone, and a Certificate of Compliance issued.
What We Install

Solar, Storage & Everything Between.

New arrays, battery upgrades, hybrid setups, solar-charged EVs and big rural roofs - we cover the full range of solar and battery work around Cowra.

Rooftop Solar

Panels and inverter sized to your usage and your roof - tidy racking, correct orientation, and wired cleanly back to the board. New homes, existing homes and renovations.

Battery Storage

Store the surplus and run off your own solar into the evening. A brand-new battery system, or a battery added to solar you already have.

Hybrid & Off-Grid

Grid-connect for most homes, or a hybrid system with battery backup for properties that want to ride out an outage - handy on rural blocks at the end of the line.

Solar + EV Charging

Pair your solar with an EV charger so the car tops up off surplus sun instead of the grid - close to free driving on a good day around the Central West.

Sheds & Rural Properties

Big shed roofs and farm buildings out around Woodstock, Gooloogong and Boorowa are made for solar - plenty of space to go large and offset pumps, sheds and the house.

Service, Repairs & Additions

Underperforming or dead system? We fault-find and repair inverters, isolators and monitoring - and add panels to an existing array where there's roof and inverter headroom.

Not sure whether you need a battery or just panels?

Tell us how you use power and we'll size it to your bills - and be straight about whether storage stacks up for your place.

How It Works

Assessed, Designed, Installed.

Every property is different - roof, usage, switchboard and supply all shape the system. We work through it properly rather than quoting a one-size-fits-all package.

Step 1

Site & Roof Assessment

We check the roof space and orientation, the switchboard and supply, and how you actually use power - the basis for sizing the system to your place.

Step 2

Design & Quote

We put together a system that suits your usage and budget - panels, inverter and battery where it makes sense - itemised and in writing, with no overpromising.

Step 3

Install & Connect

Panels racked and mounted, inverter and any battery installed, and the whole lot connected at the board with correct isolation and metering.

Step 4

Test & Monitor

System commissioned and tested, monitoring app set up on your phone, and the Certificate of Compliance and invoice issued.

Solar FAQ

Common Questions

It depends on how much power you use and when. As a rough guide, an average Cowra home lands somewhere around a 6.6kW array, but a bigger house, a workshop, or a place running aircon hard through summer and heating through winter will want more. Rural blocks with big shed roofs have plenty of room to go larger. We look at your actual usage and your roof before quoting - we'd rather size it to your bills than sell you a number.
Panels alone save you most during the day when the sun's up and you're using power. A battery stores the surplus so you're running off your own solar into the evening - which suits a lot of properties out here, especially through the cold Central West winters when you're heating after dark. It's not essential for everyone. We'll be straight about whether a battery stacks up for how you actually use power, or whether panels on their own are the smarter spend.
Usually, yes. A lot of homes around Cowra put panels on years ago and are now looking at storage. Depending on your existing inverter, we either add a battery that pairs with it or fit a separate battery inverter alongside it. We'll check what you've already got, confirm the switchboard and metering suit it, and tell you honestly if the existing gear makes it easy or awkward before you commit.
That's exactly what a well-sized system is for. Solar carries your aircon through the day, and a battery keeps it going into the evening. If you've got an EV, we can wire the charger so the car tops up off surplus solar rather than the grid - close to free driving on a good sunny day out here. We size the system around the loads you actually run, not a generic figure.
Government STC incentives require the system to be designed and installed under a Clean Energy Council-accredited installer. Talk to us about your setup and we'll be straight about what applies to your job - we won't overpromise on rebates or feed-in tariffs, because they change and they depend on your circumstances.
Yes. If your system is underperforming, throwing errors, or has stopped exporting, we fault-find and repair it - dead inverters, isolator faults, tripping issues, monitoring that's dropped offline. We also add panels to existing arrays where there's roof space and inverter headroom. You don't have to have bought the original system from us.
Often Done Together

While We're At The Board.

A solar install often combines well with other electrical work that needs the switchboard open anyway.
