EV Charger Installation.
Charge At Home Overnight.

Home and workplace EV charger supply and installation across Cowra, Canowindra, Grenfell, Woodstock and the wider Central West. A proper wall charger on its own dedicated circuit fills the car overnight, charges off your solar if you have it, and skips the queue for the nearest public charger. Sized to your supply, protected correctly, and certified - by a local licensed electrician.

What's Included

A Proper Circuit, Not A Power Point.

A wall charger draws a heavy, continuous load - far more than a normal power point is built to carry all night. Done right, it gets its own dedicated circuit, its own safety switch, and correct isolation, all tested and certified. Done cheap, off an existing outlet, it's a fire risk. We only do it the first way.

Dedicated circuit from the switchboard to the charger - correctly sized cable for the run length, on its own breaker.
Correct RCD protection for the charger - the right type of safety switch for DC-fault detection, as the wiring rules require.
Charger mounted securely in the right spot - garage wall, carport or beside the driveway - so the cable reaches your car's port comfortably.
Solar integration set up where you have it - the charger's CT clamp wired in so it can charge from surplus solar.
Tested, commissioned and certified - app set up, a full charge session confirmed working, and a Certificate of Compliance issued.
What We Install

Home, Rural & Workplace.

Single-phase or three-phase, solar-linked or standalone, one bay or a whole fleet - we install across the full range of AC wall chargers around Cowra.

7kW Home Wall Chargers

The standard home setup - a single-phase 7kW charger that fills the car overnight. Suits most Cowra homes and any EV sold in Australia.

22kW Three-Phase Chargers

For properties with three-phase supply - common on rural blocks and sheds - a faster charger for quick daytime top-ups.

Solar-Aware Chargers

Zappi, Fronius Wattpilot and similar units set to charge from surplus solar - turning excess generation into near-free driving.

Sheds & Rural Properties

Charging out at the shed or a second dwelling, often a long cable run from the main board. We size the circuit for the distance.

Load-Managed Installs

Where the supply is tight, a load-managed charger throttles back so it never trips the mains - no switchboard upgrade needed.

Workplace & Fleet

Businesses fitting chargers for staff, customers or a growing EV fleet - single bays through to multi-charger setups with metering.

Local & On The Road

A Cowra Electrician, Not A Call Centre.

Every EV charger we fit is installed and certified by Hayden, a licensed local electrician - the same van you'll see around Cowra, Canowindra, Grenfell and the wider Central West. No subcontractors, no interstate hotline, just a local you can call back if you ever have a question.

Beyond home wall chargers, we also install, service and commission workplace, public and commercial charging - so if your business is adding a charging bay or maintaining an existing unit, we cover that too.

Not sure which charger suits your car and supply?

Tell us your EV and whether you've got solar - we'll recommend the right unit, not just the dearest one.

How It Works

Quoted, Installed, Charging.

Most home chargers are a half-day to a day's work, depending on the cable run and whether the board needs anything. We'll be straight about timing upfront.

Step 1

Site Check & Quote

We look at your supply, the switchboard, where the car parks and the cable route. Supply-and-install or install-only quote - itemised, in writing.

Step 2

Order & Book

We confirm the charger model and schedule the day. Supply jobs include sourcing the unit - we'll let you know lead time if anything's on back-order.

Step 3

Install & Wire

Dedicated circuit run and protected, charger mounted, and any solar CT clamp wired in - neat and tidy, cable runs concealed where we can.

Step 4

Test & Hand Over

Charger commissioned, app set up, a live charge confirmed, and the Certificate of Compliance and invoice issued same day.

EV Charger FAQ

Common Questions

A dedicated 7kW wall charger adds roughly 40km of range per hour, so most cars go from near-empty to full overnight. That's the whole point of home charging - you plug in when you get home and wake up full. A standard power point ('granny charger') only adds around 10km an hour, which is why a proper wall charger is worth it if you drive any real distance around the Central West.
Not necessarily. A single-phase 7kW charger is plenty for overnight home charging and suits most Cowra homes. If your property already has three-phase supply - common on rural blocks and sheds out this way - we can install a 22kW charger for much faster top-ups. We'll check what supply you have before quoting so you're not paying for a charger the property can't feed.
Yes. Solar-aware chargers like the myenergi Zappi, Fronius Wattpilot and others can be set to charge only from surplus solar - so you're topping the car up on power you'd otherwise export for a few cents. With a good rural solar array this is close to free driving. We'll wire the charger and its CT clamp so it talks to your solar correctly.
We supply and install all the major brands - Tesla Wall Connector, myenergi Zappi, Fronius, Ocular, EO and others - or install a unit you've already bought. Every current home charger uses the Type 2 connector that's standard in Australia, so it'll suit any EV sold here. If you're not sure which model suits your car and your solar setup, we'll recommend one.
A wall charger is a significant continuous load, so it runs on its own dedicated circuit with its own RCD protection back at the board. If the switchboard has a spare slot and enough capacity, it's a straightforward addition. Older Cowra boards that are full or lack safety switches may need an upgrade first - we'll tell you upfront if that's the case rather than overloading an old board.
Yes. An EV charger install is licensed electrical work - a dedicated circuit, correct isolation and RCD protection, and installation to the wiring rules and the charger manufacturer's requirements. Hayden is a licensed electrician, and every install is tested and certified with a Certificate of Compliance.
Often Done Together

While We're At The Board.

An EV charger install often combines well with other electrical work that needs the switchboard open anyway.
