Air Conditioning Installation.
Warm In Winter, Cool In Summer.

Split system supply and installation across Cowra, Canowindra, Grenfell, Woodstock and the wider Central West. Central West summers run hot and dry and the winters get genuinely cold, so a properly sized reverse-cycle split has to do both jobs. Electrical circuit, refrigerant commissioning, and the full install - all handled by one local who's licensed for every part of it.

What's Included

The Full Install, Start To Finish.

A split system install involves two separate licensed parts: the electrical circuit, and the refrigerant line, mounting and commissioning of the units. Some trades only do one and subcontract the rest - Hayden is licensed for both, so the job is handled by one person with one quote and one point of contact.

Dedicated electrical circuit run from the switchboard to the indoor unit - correctly sized, correctly protected.
Indoor unit mounted and positioned for optimal airflow - correct height, correct orientation, secure to wall framing.
Outdoor unit installed on brackets or concrete pad with correct clearances for airflow and maintenance access.
Refrigerant line commissioned - vacuum tested, charged to manufacturer specification, leak checked.
Full test and handover - heating, cooling, and all modes confirmed working. We walk you through the remote and any settings worth knowing.
Reverse-Cycle Comfort

Warm In Winter, Cool In Summer.

Stay comfortable all year round with energy-efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning - one system that heats through a cold Central West winter and cools through a hot, dry summer.

Efficient Heating & Cooling

Reverse-cycle is one of the cheapest ways to heat and cool - lower running costs than plug-in heaters, all year round.

Supply, Install & Service

The whole job in-house from start to finish - supply, installation, commissioning and later servicing, one point of contact.

Quality Workmanship

Neat, reliable and built to last - tidy line sets, correct clearances, and a 100% workmanship guarantee.

Licensed Electrician & AC Specialist

Fully licensed and insured - NSW electrical licence 493329C and ARCtick refrigerant authorisation AU069307, covering both sides of the job.

Honest Advice & Fair Pricing

No pressure and no upselling - straight advice, the right-sized system, and up-front pricing before we start.

Perfect For Every Space

Homes, renovations, new builds, offices, and shops and commercial spaces right across Cowra and the Central West.

What We Install

Residential, Commercial & Rural.

Single rooms, whole houses, offices, sheds and rural properties - we install across the full range of residential and commercial split systems around Cowra.

Single-Room Split Systems

Bedroom, living room, or home office - correctly sized for the space, mounted for optimal airflow, and on a dedicated circuit from the board.

Multi-Head Systems

One outdoor unit serving multiple indoor heads across different rooms. More efficient than separate systems for whole-home coverage. Requires careful circuit and sizing work.

Replacement & Upgrades

Old unit broken or underperforming? We remove and dispose of the old system and install the new one - often using existing line set and circuit if they're in good condition.

Rental Properties

Landlords fitting air conditioning to improve rental yield or meet tenant requests. We work with managing agents to schedule access and provide documentation for the property file.

Granny Flats & Sheds

Secondary dwellings, studios, and the big rural sheds common out this way all benefit from a properly installed split system - including a new circuit run from the main board.

Solar-Ready Installs

Installing ahead of solar? We'll position the circuit and time the install to run efficiently on solar generation - worth planning from the start.

Not sure what size system you need?

Tell us the room dimensions and we'll size it correctly - not just recommend the cheapest option.

How It Works

Quoted, Installed, Running.

A single split in a single-storey home is usually one day's work. Multi-head or two-storey installs take longer - we'll be straight about timing upfront.

Step 1

Site Check & Quote

We look at the room, the board, and the best route for the line set and circuit. Supply and install or install-only quote - itemised, in writing.

Step 2

Order & Book

We confirm the unit and schedule the install day. Supply jobs include sourcing the system - we'll let you know lead time if anything is out of stock.

Step 3

Full Installation

Electrical circuit, both units mounted, refrigerant line run and commissioned, drainage installed and tested.

Step 4

Test & Hand Over

Every mode tested, remote explained, warranty registered. Compliance Certificate and invoice issued same day.

Air Conditioning FAQ

Common Questions

Yes - we can supply and install, or install only if you've already purchased a unit. For supply and install we'll recommend a size based on the room dimensions and orientation. Brands we commonly install include Daikin, Mitsubishi, and Fujitsu.
Room size is the starting point - generally 3.5kW for a bedroom, 5–6kW for a medium living area, 7–9kW for a large open-plan space. Ceiling height, insulation, and west-facing glass that cops the afternoon sun all affect the calculation. Out here a reverse-cycle unit also has to heat through a cold Central West winter, so we size for both, not just summer cooling.
Most split systems require a dedicated circuit - they can't share with lighting or power points. If the switchboard has a spare circuit breaker slot and capacity, it's a straightforward addition. If the board is full or old - common in older Cowra homes - a board upgrade may be needed first.
Yes. Air conditioning installation involves two licensed parts: the electrical work and the refrigerant handling. H1 Electrical holds a NSW Electrical Licence (493329C) and an ARCtick refrigerant trading authorisation (AU069307), so the full install - from electrical circuit to refrigerant commissioning - is handled by one licensed person, not subcontracted out.
Yes. Two-storey installations require the refrigerant line and electrical cable to be run between floors - usually through an internal wall or external pipe cover. We quote based on the actual install, not a flat rate that doesn't account for the job.
A standard single-split installation in a single-storey home - supply, install, circuit, and commissioning - takes most of a day. Multi-head systems or two-storey runs take longer. We'll give you a realistic time on the quote.
Often Done Together

While We're At The Board.

An air conditioning install often combines well with other electrical work that needs the switchboard open anyway.
